Popcorn Packaging Rebrand
CURRENT PACKAGING
Popcorn is my go to snack, I may have some beside me right now. Anyway, I have found, it is not represented as a fun and playful product! My goal was to create a unique product with an appropriate serving size for those of us who just can't stop munching on popcorn.
IDEATION AND CONCEPTION
The discovery process took into account current packaging standards, as well as, the possibility of including possible smart packaging. For Example, popcorn kernels in a ball that you throw and shake to pop!
FINAL CONCEPT
My design strategy was to add a POP of color and create a system that could be applied across all the private label products in the store. Tea, for example, feature famous authors and cookies introduce you to famous musical composers.
PRODUCT TESTING
Once the new packaging was finalized, I had to make sure it stood out on aisle, so I brought it in for testing!
